Skullcandy earbuds
The media could not be loaded.
Thisnis my 2nd pair of Skullcandy earbuds. I own a pair of Samsung Pro2, and a couple.of off brands, and these I just bought are the BEST. Comfortable, sound is excellent. I can use either the left or right earbud or use rhem both, while doing chores. Highly recommend these, really good earbuds for the price.

Nice Earbuds
The Skullcandy grind in wireless earbuds are almost perfect. They perform well and have many features. I was lucky to get them on sale for 50% off. The app is quirky sometimes, but eventually works with patience. I give them a 4 star rating, and I would recommend them if you can get them on sale.

The left side went out after a week!
I am so bummed about this! I waited patiently (or not so patiently) for these to go on sale. I was so happy and excited to get them. Now only the right side works and even then it doesn’t work 100% of the time. When they were working they were amazing!

Impressive Earbuds with Advanced Features
I’m super impressed with the Skull-iQ Grind earbuds. The hands-free voice control through the Skull-iQ App and the Worry-Free Wireless capability with Tile Finding Technology are incredibly convenient. The Personal Sound and Adjustable Stay-Aware Mode enhance my listening experience, and the long 40-hour battery life is a huge plus. The 1-year US warranty gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend these earbuds for anyone seeking high-performance wireless earbuds with smart technology features.

They are okay
The buds themselves are pretty good. I don’t have an issue with the quality of the sound at all. The case itself isn’t reliable, be careful if you shake the case itself a lot the case tends to open quite a bit. I literally tried to shake the case on purpose to see if the buds fall out and they do. Also the buds sometimes have Bluetooth connectivity issues from time to time. Ill answer a phone call with the buds and sometimes people can’t hear me, ill have to disconnect from Bluetooth then reconnect. So for the most part, 6/10 overall buds.

Love these
I have found one small issue with these ear buds. There are times when one or the other doesn’t connect so I have to turn them off and on again. Other than that Skull Candy is one of my favorite, great quality and affordable! Don’t have a problem keeping them in my ears. Have had one come out once or twice but due to not putting them in securely. So I would definitely recommend these. The battery life when charged fully is also great.

Disappointed with the sound…
These? sound more like an inexpensive set. Even after loading their software, it’s not full range, the base is kind of muffled. I guess the Microphones don’t work either. My brother had a lot of difficulty hearing me while using them.Indeed, knockoffs, I have a set that looks similar to this Skull Cadny but has an additional earpiece over the ear… That was half the price I paid for these, even down from these on a prime day price.Considered returning them but then again it was a markdown price… prefer other brands in comparison.

My favorite so far
These are my favorite headphones, the buds seemed to charge in a matter of minutes to 100%, they fit great and sound great. The only issue I had is that after a week or two, they started having issues charging while the case is closed. I am pretty sure it was just a defect, but I wanted to just exchange them for a new pair, but Amazon made me swap the for a different, lesser pair of the same price.

**UPDATE** One of the Best…Not anymore.
I just got these in today, and couldn’t wait any longer to try them out. These are my second pair of SkullCandy’s, my first pair was the JIB TRUE 2 but shortly gave them to my fiancee after receiving these. I have looked all over Amazon trying to find the best earbuds at a decent price that had most features and the Voice Control and app-use got me, so I finally settled with the Skull Candy Grind. First off, I love the slickness design, not a huge fan of the charging case due to it feeling like cheap plastic, and did not feel solid and felt like it was not gonna last that long.. The earphones came half way charged, which was great. So I was able to use them straight out of the box. I also do love the fact that SkullCandy has an app! They have everything you need to know about your device, from battery life on each earphone, volume control, an equalizer to set your listening needs to Music, Movies, Podcast, or Custom EQ. And of course the voice control! The voice control can be a little wonky, your voice must be clear and some what loud for it to hear you. I was having a little trouble with it, and had people looking at me like I was a crazy person lol. Eventually I got the hang of it. I do love the Stay-Aware Mode, basically cuts-out inside volume and increases outside volume, you can REALLY tell the difference and its pretty cool. The app has TONS of things to look through, but im not going to list them all. So far I have been using the earbuds for a couple hours now, and the battery life has not reached halfway or even close to dead, also the earbuds are comfortable, light, does not even feel like its in your ear. Overall…I am very impressed with these earphones, and having it to be my SECOND pair of earphones in a life time from Skull Candy thats a really big thumbs up! I highly recommend these!!***UPDATE***After using these like crazy, in just about 30 days, the right side of the earphones are no longer working, I can hear perfectly fine with the left side but the right earbud is a negative. Kinda disappointing because I really like these earphones and I wanted them to last *sigh* back to searching.

Great for the price
I have used skull candy headphones almost exclusively for the last 10 or so years. They’re great, they sound good, they don’t fall apart, and the battery lasts quite awhile. The one, BLARING issue I’ve had with every single pair of earbuds from Skullcandy, is that eventually one of the buds will want to stop charging. Not sure if it’s the contact on the case, or the bud itself. But without fail, every single pair I’ve owned (3 so far) has had problems after 6-18 months with charging. Currently my right earbud doesn’t like to charge, which also leads to the earbud connecting randomly to my phone, while its in the charging case.

Battery and charging
I liked them for a while. Good sound and controls to properly navigate music and videos. Overtime the right earbud started to not charge and was finicky to get charging as it wouldn’t connect and well charge. I probably got unlucky and so other than that the battery life lasts 7 and 1/2 hour before I have to put them in the case and takes maybe 20 minutes to recharge fully and I don’t have to charge the case for 1-2 weeks depending on how often I use them which was fairly often as I wore them at work. I think these are really nice sounding and a feature allows the sound cancellation to basically be turned off if you need to properly hear people while having your music still present.

Good value
The sound is good, not great. Pairing was a bit awkward due to less than precise instructions as they make no mention of removing ear bud charging cover tabs which are not readily visible. I actually returned for replacement thinking the unit was defective, my bad as well, to be quite honest.

So Torn
Listen – I absolutely have been a skullcandy lover since the brand dropped when I was a Teenager – it in my opinion, is comparable in sound to bose. I like my meatier bassier sounds, and these give that. The buds are pretty straightforwaed, calls can hear me CLEARLY, but my biggest issue is nearly destroying them two weeks in because of how easily they fall out of your ears. Mind you they come with bigger buds for those with larger ear canals to switch into, which I did when thos problem started, but it hasnt really helped the problem. I DID drop a bud in the soapy sink (which thankfully was not filled, just wet) and nearly ruined one.If you are a busy person and move a lot, eat, talk, these will not stay in for you. Take it from a toddler mom Get wraparounds instead.

Good audio, good battery
My only concern about this is that sometimes if I stop using it for a few minutes, the buds get disconnected. But as soon as I play the video or song again, they start working. I am using it on the PC, so I do not know if it’s a compatibility problem.

Ehhhh
All the great reviews on this confuse me. I opened them up. Charged them for close to 4 hours. Paired them. Only one ear works. I read online that if the battery is low then that could be why.. so how long does it take to charge? I’ve never bought a device that was 100% dead when purchasing. I tried to reset and re pair all that fun stuff. Still the right hear bud is red and only the left works. The sound from the left is pretty good. But what’s the point if the right one doesn’t work. I’m going to let it charge over night and if that doesn’t work. I’ll return them. Try a different style I guess

Surprised
Out of the box I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The sound profile was very nice in relation to the price. I like the case and that I could put it on my keychain. The case itself is a little cheap feeling but does what it needs to do. Earbuds are comfortable and look very nice. No problem with itch ears after wearing for long periods.Overall a good set of buds at a great price. Can’t go wrong with these.

No longer a fan
Used to use skullcandys all the time. Have tried other headphones as Bluetooth has become more commonJust bought these and wow their quality has gone hit downhill. Right out of the box was having issues for related to their skull IQ software.Immediately had issues pairing it after firmware updateI haven’t even used them for two full hours. First day popped them in and out of the case a few times and now the right won’t even turn off connect, reset pair anythingThe case has a matte but slippery finish so do the earbuds so they don’t actually fit and grip in your ear by anything other than the tips themselvesThe case is hard with dry hands to hold on to let alone to open. There’s no lip of any kindThey give you some kind of cable that my best guess is maybe a lightning to USBC cable, but it doesn’t even tell you what the cables for in the boxWell, the skull IQ software is great and the company that develops it braggy made awesome headphones back in the day. I’m not going to be buying another pair of Skullcandy anytime soon after this experience.

Skip these!
Bought these during Prime Day this year. After charging them overnight I was able to get maybe 3 hours of playtime as opposed to the 9 hours advertised. After sitting in the charging case for several hours sometimes they will still only indicate 50 – 70% charge. I have never had them charge to 100% off of the charge case alone, only when plugged in. The left and right earbuds seem to charge at different rates with the left earbud draining and dying significantly faster. After having had these for a little more than two weeks the left earbud is starting to have connection issues with the case displaying a flashing red light, which some internet searches infer is due to a poor connection. I make sure the earbuds are seated correctly on the contacts but I still have to wiggle the left one around and sometimes it will indicate it is charging. If you are looking for some wireless headphones give these a pass and I’d even say get a different brand. These are my first pair of Skullcandy headphones and I’m not impressed.

For the right person these are fantastic
Okay look, I know it, you know it, these are not audiophille grade earbuds. You are not cross-shopping these for fidelity. You are looking at these because you want affordable, fun sounding, versatile headphones that you won’t feel awful about if they break in a year and a half. These have a bass-forward overall dark sound to them which is to be expected from Skullcandy. These sound very nice with electric guitars- rock and metal just come alive on these things and frankly I enjoy them much more than any “flat” set I own. These are likely good for pop, electronic, rap, ect, but thats not really what I listen to. These have a cleaner, more refined sound that other Skullcandy earbuds I’ve listen to. Compared to my Dime XT’s these are definately a big step up. Maybe a bit less bass overall, but much more controlled. The treble is rolled off, but I’m extremely sensitive in this range and prefer this to analyitcal sets- these are not harsh. Imaging is also suprisingly good, not amazing but quite solid. My one gripe so far is that they can be a bit finicky to pair but they do stay conencted and dont seem to have any random drops or issues once you get past that. The app is polished and seems well made but frankly I dont care, I just bought these for sound. If you can get these for a good price (and they go on sale a lot) go for it. I think youll like them.

2-3 month lifespan
Previously used the SeshEvo, purchased these for ANC feature and longer battery life. Those features are fine, but the left stopped linking to the charger properly and the right has a working button but no sound. Also, the earbud looked identical to that of the SeshEvo but it’s actually wider and causes irritation around the wider section whereas the fit of the SeshEvo is perfect for me.

Very nice
I wish I got one in color one ,but I’m very happy with these in black. Easy to set up and then I downloaded the app. These have so many options! Tile is built in so I have no fear of losing these. You can set them up for your ears only. Which is very nice as I can’t hear as well in my left ear. I also like the fact I can use one at a time instead of both earplugs at the same time. And then the self-aware setting is great for when I’m out on a walk. I do have much smaller ears. So it was very nice to have the different size plugs. Overall they are very comfortable once you get that part situated. I haven’t tried running in them yet so I’m not sure if they’re going to stay in.

Good headset terrible charger
I like this headset a lot I’ve had it for about a year now my only complaints are one at this point the battery life has degraded significantly and two the headset doesn’t support any form of power delivery charging so you have to charge it with a regular USB charger I do like that it is USB c versus some of the other ones that I’ve had that are just USB mini the only reason why I am leaving a four-star review though is because the charger is absolutely terrible from day one I’ve had issues with getting the headset to charge and it’s only gotten worse as time went on the headset refuses to turn off when in the charging case and continues to connect my phone unless it’s in just the right position and even then sometimes it still doesn’t charge I’ve had times where even though the case is battery is full I leave it overnight or for 24 hours and come back and the battery is still completely drained. But when I can get it to charge the headset will charge from empty to full in about 30 minutes which is nice

Great sound, much better than paying for Airpod Pro’s
Update: I found a solution. Holding down the button on the non-working earbud, I was able to turn it off, place it back in the battery charger/holder, and it started working again. So it wasn’t planned obsolescence, I just thought it was. This solution wasn’t found on their website or their support articles, it was found on reddit. TIL.Old review:One earbud stopped working after 11 months of useThe sound was great, but planned obsolescence seems to be what too many electronic companies participate in, in order to get more sales. But this customer won’t ever buy from them again.I tried all of their troubleshooting steps, on both the documentation that came with the earbuds and the ones on their website (which were the same), but it didn’t help. I would contact support directly but they don’t offer it past a certain time after purchase. I didn’t rate the noise cancellation because I never used it.My wired ZeroAudio earbuds, however, still work after almost 7 years of use. I’ve accidentally yanked them out of my ears so many times while exercising or mowing, but they still sound great. Ironically, the earbud in the photo with the blue light on is the one that doesn’t play any sound.

Great buds… but not blown away.
This is a great set of true wireless earbuds! After putting them through a rugged month-long test, they came out on the other side with some definite pros and cons. FYI, I wear these buds for several hours a day.Pros:1. The Skull IQ app is definitely a plus that I have never had on previous earbuds. It comes with different features and settings to program the different actions of the earbud buttons.2. You can listen with one bud or two, doesn’t matter- just, you won’t have access to all the earbud controls with only one bud on.3. The sound quality is excellent4. They do stay in the ear fairly well. I do a lot of bending over and hanging my head upside down as I detail cars, and they stay in most of the time. You do have to make sure they are in properly, and that just comes with experience.5. I love the stay-aware feature. This just turns on the bud microphones in each ear, and plays back to your ear whatever it picks up. This is helpful when you need to hear what’s going on around you, but don’t want to take your buds out. You can even adjust the volume of the stay-aware playback in the Skull IQ app!6. After wearing the buds several hours a day, and charging them multiple times a day and throughout the week, the charging case can last a little over a week for me.7. They are comfortable, but not the most-comfortable I have ever worn.8. I also use these under a pair of over-the-ear ear pro when mowing. I have used one and both at times, and while playing music, I can still hear the lawn-mower just fine. I sometimes get a headache when wearing them, but not sure if they are the cause yet. Otherwise, they fit fine.Cons:1. The first con, the TILE APP DOES NOT WORK WITH Skullcandy Grind earbuds, but it apparently does work with the Skullcandy Grind Fuel. For some reason they advertise that it works, but I have tried several times, and they will NOT connect. I think the Tile app even says that the Grind buds are not supported by Tile.2. After about a week, the connection from bud to case became a little iffy. While at times that bud’s battery level has gotten lower than I would like, they have never drained all the way, and do charge enough for me.3. These do not have wireless charging so far as I can tell. I thought the seller had claimed they did, but I can’t find it anymore on the site, and it has never worked on any wireless chargers I have tried. Two more random notes:The charging cord that comes to charge the charging case is a little weird, and at first I thought it was some European plug that I would have to get a special adapter for. However, no matter how weird it looks, The big end does fit into regular USB A port for me and does charge. The shipping did not come in professional packaging, and the return address was from some lady’s name, not a company, or professional sounding name. Not a huge issue, but definitely not what I was expecting or hoping for.

Defective charging cases
Pros:These sound great, when they’re working. Nice and loud and crisp.Cons:The charging case is defective. These are supposed to disconnect from your Bluetooth receiver when the buds are in the case and it closed, but I’ve had 3 different sets of these now and they all stop this function shortly after purchase. This results in the buds never shutting off, and will play whatever you’re listening to while in the case.Charging is inconsistent. (This could also be related to the above point) – buds will be in the case all night, with the case showing full reserve and still come out of the case at 70-80%.The left earbud worked for about 20 days, crackled, and then went out – and only worked for a few seconds if you ‘flick it’ hard enough to hurt your finger…No features without downloading the Skullcandy app. Including adjusting the EQ since these are waaay too bassy out of the box.The Grind “Fuel” appear to be a second iteration of these that have wireless charging and better charging case – so be careful which version you’re selecting here. (Only the black and orange.)My wife has my original set that I bought years ago, she doesn’t mind the case issue, but after 2 additional sets purchased through amazon and returned for being defective – I decided to try soundthing else. The SoundCore A40 is a much better earbud at a similar price point.

Incredible sound and great Tile feature, Bluetooth a bit flaky
I bought these more for just listening to audio books on the treadmill, but the sound quality is great and they come with a lot of cool features. Sometimes I have connection problems. Here’s my takeaways after 2 months of moderate use.Pros:The app is great. I started by pairing the buds and setting up my sound profile, which took 10-15 minute of sound tests. In the app, I can customize all the controls and settings, which is more than I’ve ever had with any headphones (these are my first actual wireless buds). I haven’t tried things like the voice assistant or audio sharing, but I did set up the included Tile integration, which helped me find these a couple times already, so I highly suggest setting that up. Stay-aware is a great feature idea. If I’m the only one home, I’ll turn that on so I can hear if the dogs need to go out, but it hugely affects the experience of what I’m listening to, so I usually have it off. I imagine it’s much more useful while working outside, mowing the lawn, etc. Additionally, in the app, I can see the power levels of each ear bud.Cons:There’s two things I’ve seen with this. First is that I believe the buds should charge from the case even when the case is not plugged in but has power. I’m not convinced it’s doing this all the time. Second, and more important is the connectivity. 95% of the time, there’s no problem, but on a few occasions I’ve had trouble getting them to connect or stay connected. While it’s very rare, it’s very frustrating when it happens.Over all, I’m happy with them and enjoying the amount of features and quality for the price.

The best ear pods!
I own 3 of these and they last for 1-2 weeks without having to charge them. The sound is amazing and they are comfortable. I prefer these over my other earbuds.

Great Ear Buds
Great ear buds, with really decent sound. Use them when I ride my motorcycles, mountain bike, and at the gym. Great price when I bought them, and would recommend. P.S.-This is my second pair, to compliment my first pair. And my first pair is still going strong.

Edit: after 6 months they didn’t work
Edit: Had connectivity issues get worse as time went on. The left one always disconnected randomly until it quit connecting at all. Then it didn’t charge. Buds were always stored in the case. Never dropped. Nothing unusual. I wiped the connections. Tried all the troubleshooting methods. Nothing. Lasted about 6 months. I would not recommend or buy again. Not new to the brand. Always found Skull Candy decently priced and usable. I’m not really an ear bud person. I prefer over the ear headphones (I’ve been rocking the Crusher wireless for about 8 years now).Anyhow. I needed some portable buds I can leave at work as the funky, cheap, wired foam ones from work gives for free weren’t cutting it. Constantly got complaints my voice was muffled and unclear. These seemed to fit the bill.Cheap- affordable, didn’t break my budget, if someone steals them I can buy another set. I’ve had worse that cost more.Bluetooth- connects rather quickly. Way easier to pair between multiple devices than my Crushers. Can seamlessly switch between PC and my phone when I need to without needing to forget the previous device.Sound quality- Decent. They aren’t top tier. If your and audiophile these are not for you. But conversations, meetings, music, podcasts are all audible and clear. They do randomly cut out frequently which is more irritating each time it happens. Also, my left bud has quit working while wearing them more than once. The right one keeps working. To solve it I have to place it back in the case, close the case, and let it re-pair. I suggest keeping the case with you all the time.App- haven’t really used it much since the purpose was mostly for work meetings. If I delve into it I’ll update.Mic- voice command works. Reviewers mentioned muffled voice but I haven’t had any negative feedback since I switched to these. Which is awesome since voice quality was part of the reason I was looking to buy these. During phone calls while driving I do get told the background noise is louder than usual (traffic, wind, wipers). So the mic picks up more than it should.Battery life- So far they exceed expectation. I did a weeks worth of training videos every day and didn’t need to recharge the case. Every morning they were at 100%. A full 40 hour week in use and no need to charge. That’s a win.

Good, reliable, but heavy!
Look they are good, they work great. Battery life is fairly good. The price is awesome (got them for a bit of a discount during PrimeDay 2024). My main complaint is that they are heavy. I notice them in my ears after a few hours (I need headphones for all day at work) I’ve started wearing one, and then charging the other so I can swap out ears. The connection is good, the sound in the microphone is good according to husband/kids since switching from my old pair.My favorite part of these….tile built into each ear bud. If I lose one I can track it down! This is a massive relief. I’m certain this is why the earbuds are heavy so it’s a tradeoff I’ll keep because tracking down these buggers is the bane of my existence. I’ve insisted my kids get these instead of continually losing other ones!

Great sound
These sound great for my purpose but I was sad to see their phone app won’t connect. I feel like I’m losing out on added features and I cannot customize the controls of the headphones.. Their battery life is great and can last for a full day of landscape work. They are light and comfortable with clear/crisp sounds.
